For an artist, a home is not just a shelter. It’s a studio, a refuge, and a site of inspiration. A real artist’s house is as singular and idiosyncratic as the artist who inhabits it. Located in one of the premium properties in Mumbai, this apartment has beautiful airiness to it along with being spacious and naturally lit. The apartment was designed keeping in mind that the owner is an artist who had lovely collectibles from across the globe and her own paintings that needed enough space for display. The house we treated was like a cozy abode and an art gallery.

The living room opens to a large balcony with a flat white ceiling, neutral colors, and large-scale contemporary art and sculptures in the room—along with an impressive collection of repurposed and custom-made modern furniture—to create a vibrant whole. The bedrooms were designed in a similar manner.
Hoping to spark their imagination and give them their very own hideout, the kid’s rooms were designed with vibrant red and black wardrobes, keeping their study and bed with neutral white & greys. Every element in the room was designed to get the look, from furniture to decor, curtains, and bedcovers.
